Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 35 - 28 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Henry Lancaster!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 15 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Gen Tenryu!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, John Roberts and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lancaster connects with a good right hand that stumbles Tenryu. Tenryu circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Lancaster misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A swing and a miss from Lancaster.
Lancaster ducks under a wild hook from Tenryu.
Tenryu moves away from the strike by Lancaster.
Lancaster has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Tōshi in the buildup to the fight.
Tenryu throws a right and a left that both miss.
Lancaster shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Tenryu slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Tenryu takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Tenryu clinches with his opponent.
Lancaster misses with a hook to the ribs.
Tenryu makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Lancaster.
Lancaster tries to throw a body punch but Tenryu avoids it by throwing Lancaster back against the cage.
Lancaster breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lancaster thows a left - swing and a miss!
Lancaster fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tenryu manages to avoid it.
Tenryu lands a really nice looking cross but Lancaster seems unphased.
Lancaster's corner calls for a 1-2. Lancaster obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Tenryu is looking to clinch but Lancaster is avoiding it.
Lancaster jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Tenryu slips a jab from Lancaster.
It seemed like Tenryu was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Tenryu lands a big uppercut and Lancaster crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Lancaster looks OK. Tenryu waves Lancaster back to his feet!
Lancaster is rocked!
Lancaster throws a hook but Tenryu blocks it.
Tenryu takes a kick to the side of the head.
Lancaster looks to throw the jab but Tenryu is out of range.
Tenryu cracks Lancaster with a hook to the temple - Lancaster is on wobbly legs here! Tenryu swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Lancaster falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Tenryu wins by TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Gen Tenryu!
After winning the bout, Gen Tenryu thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
