Wagon cracks Botev with a right hand to the side of the head.
We've been hearing reports that Botev has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Botev throws a jab but it's blocked by Wagon.

Botev bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Botev prevents Wagon from escaping the position.
Botev creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Wagon is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Wagon felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Wagon is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Botev in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Wagon looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Botev turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
