With a record of 17 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jeff Lee! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McDonnell misses with a straight right. McDonnell lands a nice hook to Lee's body. Lee takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. McDonnell throws a hook but Lee avoids it easily. Lee looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Lee tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but McDonnell paws at him with a jab and circles away. McDonnell throws a hook but Lee blocks it. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rose ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Rose shoots in and bounces Almunecar off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Rose works over Almunecar with some ground and pound from guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rose pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Almunecar is keeping the position for now.
