The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ironfeld shoots in looking for a takedown. Jacira tries to sprawl out of it but Ironfeld keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jacira manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dmitry Boytsov (ranked 1269 p4p, 2107 weight class) and Julio Cruzeiro (ranked 167 p4p, 249 weight class). Boytsov comes to the cage accompanied by AMAZING. Cruzeiro is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Jah Jah The Conqueror by Linval Thompson. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.
