The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lykmekov circles away from the clinch attempt.
Meyer has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Lykmekov misses with a head kick.
Lykmekov looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Meyer forces Lykmekov back against the cage and clinches.

Lykmekov breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lykmekov shoots for a double leg takedown but Meyer sprawls well. He's pushed Lykmekov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Meyer changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Lykmekov dives in and grabs Meyer's left leg, looking for a takedown. Meyer pushes down on Lykmekov's head and hops out.
As Lykmekov backs off Meyer throws a huge counter combo but Lykmekov manages to avoid it all.

Meyer has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Lykmekov to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Meyer is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Lykmekov pulls down on the head and he's put Meyer to sleep! This one is all over!
