Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Belyaev (ranked 1035 p4p, 851 weight class) and Zane Raven (ranked 92 p4p, 80 weight class). Raven comes into a darkened arena with his song building. 300 Violin Orchestra - Jorge Quintero kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! This should be fireworks!

With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Zane Raven!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Belyaev with that takedown attempt.
Belyaev dives in for a single leg takedown but Raven sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Belyaev tries to score a body lock takedown but Raven shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Raven has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Daniel Belyaev. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Raven has Belyaev pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Raven pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Belyaev tumbling to the mat - Raven dives into Belyaev's guard.
