The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Grandis lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Acerbi has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Acerbi and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Acerbi throws a nice outside leg kick.
Grandis falls off balance throwing a combination
and Acerbi counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Grandis walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

We've been informed that Acerbi has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Oh Grandis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Grandis is aggressively charging in as Acerbi backs up avoiding any damage. Acerbi tosses out a jab and Grandis runs right into it face first! Grandis is out cold! Acerbi dropped down on all fours and is barking in Grandis's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
