A nice side step and Medved releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Aleksandr Medved seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Magomedov moves forwards but Medved connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Magomedov rolls with it to try and escape but Medved cranks on the arm and Magomedov is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pablo Gaspar (ranked 2632 p4p, 3456 weight class) and Diziz Sparta Jr (ranked 307 p4p, 383 weight class). Gaspar's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Narco. Sparta Jr has chosen Just like you imagined as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Gaspar fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Sparta Jr is out of range.
Gaspar swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Gaspar darts in and clinches Sparta Jr up against the cage.
Sparta Jr has Gaspar pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Gaspar manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Gaspar drops Sparta Jr with a beautiful combination! Sparta Jr stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Gaspar is looking for the KO!
It looks like Diziz Sparta Jr has been cut.
Gaspar closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Sparta Jr! Gaspar dives in looking to finish! Sparta Jr is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Acerbi lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Kai tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kai lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Acerbi backs up against the cage.
It looks like Panfilo Acerbi has been cut.
Kai defending well as Acerbi loads up on a big left hand.
Kai is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Kai throws the left hand but Acerbi avoids the punch easily.
Acerbi throws a push kick but Kai slaps the foot to one side.

Bruno Miranda had a terrible time trying to make weight. After initially coming in at 191.3, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. Stepping on the scales for a second time, he still failed to make the required weight and after much deliberation, his fight with Vik Arora was cancelled.

Goodman is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Cruz has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Goodman is looking to defend but Cruz has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Goodman! Cruz pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Goodman taps out and this one is all over!
