Bull has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Stormcrow Centre in the buildup to the fight.
Durnin throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Durnin throws out a loose jab but Bull uses good head movement to avoid it.
Durnin gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Durant lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Cross circles away quickly and effectively.

Cross closes the distance and clinches up with Durant, looking for a takedown. Cross pushes Durant against the cage but Durant circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Simon Cross. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cross shoots in for a takedown but Durant shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Cross has been working on his balance at Tycoon Gym, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Durant.
Cross throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Durant's waist but Durant gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cross off to one side.

Cross chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Durant can pounce on him.
Cross takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

I would just about give that final round to Robert Helpmann.
Well Helpmann has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
