The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Batt changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Devaney tries to avoid it but Batt manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Devaney to the ground. Devaney escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Devaney digs a good body shot into Batt's ribs.
Devaney misses with a low kick.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Devaney, as that shot connected.
It looks like Dylan Batt has been cut.
Batt looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Devaney keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dylan Batt. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Devaney stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Batt shoots in but no luck this time.
No joy there for Devaney, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Batt walks straight into a right hand from Devaney - that's dropped him! Devaney jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Batt from any more punishment! Batt complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Talen Odom Hunt (ranked 517 p4p, 1789 weight class) and Jokubas Antukis (ranked 72 p4p, 237 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Antukis's choice of entrance music: "Terminator" - Sevendust. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.
