And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Panda MacLeod!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Wagner Zegers and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MacLeod swings for the body but Tryastsyn moves out of range.
MacLeod doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Tryastsyn working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Tryastsyn lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tryastsyn drops an elbow to the side of MacLeod's head.

Tryastsyn is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Tryastsyn connects with a nice short shot to MacLeod's temple.

Tryastsyn will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Tryastsyn is working MacLeod over with some ground and pound from side control.
That has opened up Panda MacLeod's cut even more.

Tryastsyn is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but MacLeod is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Tryastsyn is putting a hurting on MacLeod here, landing some big shots from side control.
The cut above Panda MacLeod's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Tryastsyn lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Panda MacLeod's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Panda MacLeod's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
