With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jimmy Allen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jouka Ahola! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A big left from Allen misses. Allen definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Allen moves forwards but Ahola connects with a nice, crisp jab. Ahola ducks under a wild hook from Allen. A jab lands there for Allen. Allen scores with a decent looking hook. Ahola slips a jab from Allen. Ahola has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Matthew Griffin! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Griffin bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Griffin is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Wagner's shoulder. That is not cool. Wagner is trying to get back to his feet. Wagner trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Griffin controlling from side mount. Wagner wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Griffin content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Wagner tries to escape but Griffin is in control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wagner dodges the ground and pound from Griffin. Wagner wants to get back to his feet but Griffin drags him back down. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Wagner is working to avoid the ground and pound but Griffin connects with a decent elbow. Griffin is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Wagner's coaches at Gumburcules Gym have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position. Griffin's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Wagner is trying to get back to his feet. Griffin stands up and we're back to a striking position. Tooogood is working for takedown but Ma is calmly controlling the position for now. Ma is trying to drag Tooogood to the mat but Tooogood just about manages to keep his footing. Good standup being displayed there by Brewer as he connects with a hook. Makhno's corner calls for a 1-2. Makhno obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Brewer lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nutz shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kramer but Kramer pushes him off and we're back to square one. Kramer appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Kramer avoids the head kick by Nutz.
Nutz has his takedown stuffed and Kramer counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Nutz manages to escape and get back to his feet! Kramer looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Nutz closes the distance but Kramer moves to the side and Kramer counters with a nice double leg into guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kramer lands a couple of elbows. Kramer looking to pass the guard. Kramer loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Kramer is looking to pass into half guard but Nutz pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Nutz is in guard.

Nutz doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Nutz manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kakuzo lands with an overhand left. Kakuzo feints and then cracks Mendes's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Mendes down. Kakuzo dives in and scores a takedown into Mendes's guard. Kakuzo wants to pass the guard but Mendes is keeping the position. Mendes trying to control the position.
Mendes keeping moving, preventing Kakuzo from controlling successfully. Kakuzo is in close to Mendes's body, working some short punches and elbows. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mendes is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Kakuzo throws a big right hand that misses.

Mendes is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Kakuzo thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Mendes lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Kakuzo looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mendes is one step ahead there. Kakuzo keeping moving, preventing Mendes from controlling successfully. Kakuzo is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Mendes is aware though and is defending well. Mendes has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Kakuzo to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Mendes is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Kakuzo pulls down on the head and he's put Mendes to sleep! This one is all over!

Draconis's coach down at New York Public Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Draconis's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Draconis on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Draconis bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Makoba misses with a head kick.
Makoba throws a right and a left that both miss. Makoba lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. A head kick misses from Makoba. Makoba lands with a cross. It looks like Tommy Draconis has been cut. Draconis closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Draconis is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Makoba doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Draconis. Makoba keeps control of the position for the meantime.

A little jabbing left from Montoya on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Montoya gets in close and instigates a clinch. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Tucker tries to break free but Montoya pushes him back against the cage. Tucker tries to break the clinch but Montoya is controlling the position. Tucker pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Tucker connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. And that is the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round! Montoya throws a body shot but no joy. Montoya avoids the body shot from Tucker.
Oooooh!!! Tucker has knocked Montoya down with a huge combo! Tucker steps away and waves a wobbly Montoya back to his feet! This one might not go much longer! Montoya is rocked! Tucker lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Montoya crumples to the floor! Tucker milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
