The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dae Hyun pushes Hernandez up against the cage in a clinch. A head punch blocked on the inside by Hernandez. Dae Hyun lands a hook that snaps the head of Hernandez backwards. Dae Hyun avoiding damage as Hernandez throws knees to the body.

Dae Hyun swings wildly with an uppercut but Hernandez uses good head movement to avoid it. Dae Hyun is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Hernandez throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Dae Hyun blocks it with crossed arms. Hernandez with an attempt at a knee that misses.

Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round! Dae Hyun throws a half hearted mid kick. Kang Dae Hyun has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Hernandez throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Dae Hyun doesn't manage to clinch there - Hernandez circles away.

He's obviously looking to slow Dae Hyun down. Hernandez throws a sloppy head kick and Dae Hyun moves out of range easily.

The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Hernandez lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Hernandez will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yelnats defending well as Kanaani loads up on a big left hand. A quick step to the side and Yelnats tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Mehdi Kanaani seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kanaani lands with a hook. Yelnats tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Kanaani digs a good body shot into Yelnats's ribs. Kanaani tests Yelnats's chin there with a solid looking shot. Yelnats looking to score a takedown here. Kanaani is defending well but Yelnats drives through and ends up in Kanaani's guard. Yelnats won't allow Kanaani to sweep him here. Kanaani wants to stand but Yelnats is controlling the position. Yelnats stands and throws Kanaani's legs to the side, diving into side control. Yelnats is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Kanaani's shoulder. That is not cool. That's one minute gone in the round. Kanaani is trying to get back to his feet. A lull in the action here as Yelnats stalls from top position. Kanaani is looking for a sweep. Yelnats remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Yelnats working the head with strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. You can see the frustration on Kanaani's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Yelnats in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Yelnats throws an elbow but Kanaani slips to the side and avoids it well. Kanaani is trying to escape and get back to his feet. The strikes coming from Yelnats are missing the target in this wave of attacks. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Yelnats's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Kanaani gets caught flat footed, as Yelnats shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Yelnats not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Kanaani is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Yelnats engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Further stalling from Yelnats.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Yelnats has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup. Yelnats stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kanaani swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kanaani walks into a left hand. Kanaani takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Kanaani ducks right into an uppercut from Yelnats. Kanaani fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Yelnats tried to counter with a leg kick but Kanaani avoided it. Kanaani fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Yelnats is out of range. Kanaani has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Yelnats finds it's way round the side to connect with Kanaani's head. Kanaani swings widly with a right hand
and Yelnats counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. No joy there for Yelnats, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Yelnats stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Yelnats stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Yelnats wants it to stay on the feet. Yelnats keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

We're back to striking at a distance. Yelnats bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Kanaani throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Yelnats misses with a takedown attempt - Kanaani sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stanley Yelnats. That's going to take a lot out of him. Yelnats swings and misses with a shot to the body and Kanaani counters with a left and a right that stings Yelnats.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice sprawl there from Pulkkinen as Naranja shoots in. Naranja shoots in for a takedown but Pulkkinen shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Naranja tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pulkkinen swats him away and circles back towards the center. Pulkkinen appears to be looking for a big counter. Pulkkinen misses with a hook. Naranja shoots and misses and Pulkkinen counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Sepi Pulkkinen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luis Naranja. Pulkkinen drops Naranja with a beautiful combination! Naranja stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Pulkkinen is looking for the KO! It looks like Luis Naranja has been cut. Naranja looks winded! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Panda tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hidaka manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Panda defending well as Hidaka loads up on a big left hand. Panda fails to land with a series of punches.
Hidaka misses with a hook. Panda ducked under it nicely. Panda misses the shot to the body. Hidaka circles away from the clinch attempt.
Nice defenses there by Hidaka. Panda shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Hidaka steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. Hidaka connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Panda momentarily.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Hidaka prevents Panda from improving position. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hidaka walks away with a smile on his face. Panda gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. A big right from Hidaka misses. Hidaka dips to his left and cracks Panda with an uppercut! This has been an exciting period of action! Hidaka takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. The fight stays on the outside here - Panda looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Hidaka thuds his shin into the meat of Panda's side. Hidaka looks to land a combination. Panda sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Hidaka lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

The fighters are battling for position here. Hidaka manages to regain full guard. Nice work. D.D Panda overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Hidaka wants to sweep but no luck. D.D Panda has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Panda with a flurry of punches that miss.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vargas avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Kohinata Minoru Ii seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Vargas throws the left hand but Minoru Ii avoids the punch easily. Vargas takes one on the chin but seems OK.
It looks like Arturo Vargas has been cut. Minoru Ii uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Vargas has time to react. Minoru Ii scores with a body shot.

Vargas feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Minoru Ii sprawling to the canvas! Minoru Ii rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Vargas finish him?!
