Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Smith (ranked 207 p4p, 871 weight class) and Elo Mnusk (ranked 28 p4p, 114 weight class). Smith comes to the cage accompanied by Rush - Subdivisions. Mnusk is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Dead or alive Bon Jovi. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Mnusk.
Smith swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
We've been hearing reports that Smith has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Mnusk looks for a takedown but Smith sprawls well.
