Smith in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Mnusk gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Smith is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Mnusk is forced to tap! Great finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Mike Smith! Mike Smith seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website. Elo Mnusk spoke after the fight, saying 'It is what it is'.
