Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Keenwah Granes (ranked 2966 p4p, 3023 weight class) and Ibragim Said (ranked 263 p4p, 267 weight class). Granes comes to the cage accompanied by 敢不敢. Said is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by 3 Nights. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 22 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Keenwah Granes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 21 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ibragim Said! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Ren Mimura and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Granes throws a hook but Said avoids it easily. Said misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Said finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Granes has taken the fight to the clinch.
Said lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Granes changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Said fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Granes does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Granes blocks a leg kick. Said lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Granes lands a leg kick that knocks Said off balance momentarily. Said misses with a looping left. Granes slips under a jab. Ibragim Said seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Said misses with an attempted mid kick.
Granes dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Said. That did some damage! Granes defending well as Said loads up on a big left hand. Granes swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. This has been an exciting period of action! Granes drives through and clinches with Said against the cage.
Said has a couple of punches blocked by Granes.
A nice right hand lands inside from Granes. Said working aggressively here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Granes breaks from the clinch.
Said uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Said. A head kick misses from Granes. Said scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Said cracks Granes with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Granes uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Said. Granes avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Granes lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Said throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Said feints and as Granes raises his hands in defense, Said changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Said loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Said has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Said in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Granes has momentary wrist control but Said slips an elbow through the middle. Said throwing strikes but missing. Said wants to control from the top but Granes keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Said trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Granes lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Said looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Granes lands a couple of decent looking shots. Said throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Granes cracks Said with a solid left hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Granes throwing strikes but missing. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Granes accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Said is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Granes got a little sloppy there for a moment and Said has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Granes has managed to get both his arms back between Said's legs - danger averted. Granes trying to move into half guard but instead Said has managed to sweep! Granes keeping moving, preventing Said from controlling successfully. Said passes easily into side control. Nice work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Said throws an elbow but Granes slips to the side and avoids it well. Granes is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Said's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Said wants to free his trapped foot but Granes is holding on for dear life with his legs. Granes gets full guard. Said chips away with some ground and pound. Said keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Granes's head. Said looking to pass the guard. Granes bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Said's guard. Said wants to sweep but no luck. Granes throwing strikes from guard but Said blocks nicely. Said has momentary wrist control but Granes slips an elbow through the middle. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ibragim Said dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Said throws a half hearted mid kick. Granes throws a jab when Said was well out of range. Said throws a good cross that connects.
Said throws a hook to the side of Granes's head but Granes sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Said on the wrong end of a nice jab. Said throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. A cross from Said lands. Granes staying out of range there. Said displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Granes throws out the jab. A low kick lands for Said.
Granes connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Said momentarily.
Said pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Granes throws a leg kick but Said checks it. Said looks like he wants to counter punch here. Granes has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Said finds it's way round the side to connect with Granes's head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jab from Said. Said throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Granes misses with a two punch combination.

That's one minute gone in the round. Said is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Granes. Said avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Said connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Said dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Said misses with an attempted mid kick.
Granes steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Said. Granes sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Said throws a low kick but Granes avoids it. Granes throws an off balance right hand
enabling Said to counter with a crisp jab. Said throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Granes counters with a right hand to the body. Granes feints and then cracks Said's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Said down. Granes throws a sloppy head kick and Said moves out of range easily. Said is looking for the big counter here. Granes closes the distance and clinches up with Said, looking for a takedown. Granes pushes Said against the cage but Said circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Granes throws a series of punches but Said avoids them all with ease. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Granes scores with a jab to the jaw. Said throws an overhand right that lands on Granes's shoulder, as Granes tries to avoid the shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Said looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Said throwing strikes but missing. Said tries to free his leg and advance position but Granes is retaining full guard. Granes is trying to keep Said in close.
Said is looking to work some ground and pound but Granes has wrist control. Granes trying to keep a closed guard but Said is proving a slippery customer.
Said stopping the sweep attempt from Granes. Said pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Granes is keeping the position for now. Said is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Said lands a couple of digs. Said scoring with some ground and pound.

Granes postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Said keeping moving, preventing Granes from controlling successfully. Granes stands up over Said, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Granes throwing strikes from guard but Said blocks nicely. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ibragim Said showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round! Nice uppercut lands for Granes. That snapped Said's head back.
Said staying out of range there. Said is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Granes tries to clinch but Said moves out of range. Said with a jab. Granes slips a jab and a cross from Said.
Said throws a nice outside leg kick. Said connects with a body shot. Said fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Granes manages to avoid it. As Said backs away, Granes returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Said takes a swing at Granes's ribcage but misses. Said has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Said uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Granes. Said throws out a loose jab but Granes uses good head movement to avoid it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Said misses with a looping right. A low kick from Granes is predictable there and Said counters with a nice double leg into side control. Granes won't be happy with that. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Said in side control lands a decent elbow. Granes gets back to half guard. Granes has hold of Said's hands but Said slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
That's one minute gone in the round. Said throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Said thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Granes's head. Granes actively working from the bottom here. Said is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Granes! Granes in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Granes is rocked! Granes is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Canucks Combat Club, so we'll see if he gets out of it. Said punishing his opponent with strikes. Oh Granes is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! A big strike lands for Said! That's really hurt Granes and he's turned his back - Said keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Said jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

McBobbie postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. McBobbie working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. McBobbie won't allow Connor to get back to his feet. McBobbie is looking to work some ground and pound but Connor has wrist control. McBobbie scoring with some ground and pound. Connor is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst McBobbie is controlling him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McBobbie appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. McBobbie lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Connor at a distance.

and Ebe counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. It looks like Johan Joestar has been cut. Ebe lands a jab to Joestar's midsection. Ebe lands a big uppercut and Joestar crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Joestar looks OK. Ebe waves Joestar back to his feet! Joestar is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ebe ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Joestar looks winded! Joestar shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Ebe throws a right and a left that both miss. Joestar walks straight into a right hand from Ebe - that's dropped him! Ebe jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Joestar from any more punishment! Joestar complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dewitt feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Prixs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! A nice leg kick lands there from Dewitt. Prix scores with a leg kick.
