Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 25 - 27 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bobby Knuckles! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 19 - 20 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Joseph Ducreux! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ducreux clinches with his opponent.
Ducreux drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Knuckles gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Knuckles can't find room to land a body shot as Ducreux controls the action.
Ducreux gets control of Knuckles's arms and successfully pulls guard. Ducreux will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Knuckles is pushing down on Ducreux's leg trying to pass to half guard. Ducreux is fighting to maintain full guard but Knuckles has managed to sneak the leg through. Ducreux tries to get to full guard but Knuckles has control of the leg. Ducreux is doing well to control the position and prevent Knuckles from advancing to side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ducreux trying to hold on to Knuckles's head to control him but Knuckles postures up.
Ducreux told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet. Ducreux tries to roll over but Knuckles keeps him under control.

Ducreux with the active half guard here but Knuckles passes nicely into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ducreux tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Knuckles easily slips into full mount! Knuckles avoids the attempt from Ducreux to control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Ducreux keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Ducreux wants to hold on but Knuckles pushes him away. Ducreux is trying to escape the mount.

Let's see if Ducreux can do anything to dispel that myth. Ducreux tries to hold on but Knuckles pushes him away. Ducreux is looking to improve his position but Knuckles isn't that keen on the idea. Knuckles looking to ground and pound but Ducreux is blocking nicely. Ducreux is wriggling around trying to escape.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Ducreux is trying to control but Knuckles passes into side control!

Bobby Knuckles dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Knuckles looks to land a left hand but Ducreux moved out of range nicely. Ducreux gets slowly back to his feet. Knuckles misses with a few strikes there.

Ducreux closes the distance looking to clinch and Knuckles counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Knuckles will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Ducreux ducks under a wild hook from Knuckles. Ducreux appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Ducreux moves out of range as Knuckles strikes. Ducreux gets a clinch.

Ducreux goes for a double leg but Knuckles avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Knuckles continues to drive forward. Knuckles appears to be looking for a big counter. Ducreux wants to clinch up but Knuckles keeps it at a distance. Knuckles lands with an uppercut that bounces Ducreux off the cage and back into range. Bobby Knuckles is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ducreux defending well as Knuckles loads up on a big left hand. Ducreux darts in and clinches Knuckles up against the cage. Ducreux tries for a takedown. No joy.

Knuckles's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Knuckles fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Ducreux pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Knuckles on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Ducreux goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Knuckles takes one to the side of the head.
Ducreux fails with a takedown attempt. Ducreux misses with a takedown and Knuckles counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ducreux slips a straight right by Knuckles. Ducreux with a poor takedown and Knuckles counters with a lovely straight right hand! A telegraphed right hand from Knuckles misses the target. Knuckles ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ducreux avoids a punch combination nicely.
A head kick misses from Ducreux. Knuckles throws a leg kick and Ducreux counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Ducreux. A short body shot lands from Knuckles as the two fighters clinch.

Ducreux gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Knuckles misses with a straight right. Ducreux misses the shot to the body. Knuckles tries a head kick but it misses.
Knuckles looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Ducreux tries to close the distance and clinch but Knuckles swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Ducreux rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Knuckles moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Knuckles throws a lazy right hand but Ducreux sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Ducreux moves out of range as Knuckles throws a body kick.
Knuckles throws out a loose jab but Ducreux uses good head movement to avoid it. We've been told by Knuckles's head coaches at Kalashnikov ELITE MMA Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Knuckles jabs Ducreux to the body, keeping him at a distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A shot to the liver by Ducreux. Beautiful body shot. Both fighters circling a little - Ducreux finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Ducreux slips under a jab from Knuckles. Ducreux misses with a looping left. Ducreux is looking to clinch. Ducreux moves forwards but Knuckles connects with a nice, crisp jab. Knuckles stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Knuckles wants it to stay on the feet. Bobby Knuckles is winning the standup battle so far. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Knuckles throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Ducreux throws a right and a left that both miss. Knuckles was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Knuckles lands an overhand right. Knuckles punishes Ducreux's body with a nice straight punch. Jab, jab by Knuckles - just one landing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ducreux shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Knuckles lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ducreux circles away quickly and effectively. Knuckles misses with a body shot.
Knuckles connects with a right hand. Ducreux shakes it off. Knuckles lands a jab to the nose. The fight stays on the outside here - Ducreux looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Ducreux takes the fight into the clinch. Ducreux missing with knees to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ducreux is looking to break free of the clinch but Knuckles has double underhooks. Ducreux has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Knuckles is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Ducreux makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Ducreux tries to land knees in the clinch but Knuckles avoids the damage to the body. Knuckles lands a nice uppercut. Ducreux wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Knuckles has him pressed against the cage. Ducreux breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Ducreux closes the distance and pushes Knuckles back into the cage. Knuckles looking to slow down the pace here. Joseph Ducreux has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Ducreux prevents a body shot from Knuckles.
And that's the end of the fight! Bobby Knuckles showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Knuckles, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Fukumitsu throws the left hand but Lamez avoids the punch easily. Fukumitsu throws a jab but it's blocked by Lamez. Lamez looks to land a right hand but Fukumitsu moved out of range. Lamez throws a big shot that misses. Lamez throws out a loose jab but Fukumitsu uses good head movement to avoid it. Lamez avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Fukumitsu is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lamez. Lamez scores with a jab. Fukumitsu lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Lamez pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Fukumitsu throws a lazy right hand but Lamez sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Lamez throws out a counter right but Fukumitsu avoids it with no problem. Fukumitsu lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Fukumitsu. Lamez is rocked! Lamez takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Lamez is still on wobbly legs! Can Fukumitsu finish him? Fukumitsu lands a nice hook to Lamez's body. Lamez takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Lamez takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

That's one minute gone in the round. BOOM! Fukumitsu lands a beautiful left hook that drops Lamez. Lamez tries to recover but Fukumitsu is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Lamez lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brillo dives in and grabs Arnason's left leg, looking for a takedown. Arnason pushes down on Brillo's head and hops out. Arnason gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Brillo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Arnason but Arnason pushes him off and we're back to square one. Brillo misses with a few strikes there.
Arnason leaves Brillo with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Jeremy Arnason has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. Brillo closes the distance and clinches up with Arnason, looking for a takedown. Brillo pushes Arnason against the cage but Arnason circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. An attempted straight right counter from Arnason misses the target. Brillo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Arnason circles away. It looked like Arnason wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Brillo tries to clinch up and Arnason counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Jeremy Arnason is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Brillo misses with a takedown attempt and Arnason counters with a crisp right hand that drops Brillo! Arnason lets Brillo back up to his feet, looking for a finish! Brillo is rocked! It looks like Amarillo Brillo has been cut. Brillo misses with a low kick as Arnason jumps back. Arnason was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Amarillo Brillo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Brillo tries to clinch up and Arnason scores with a counter punch that sends Brillo to the canvas! Arnason smells blood - he's punishing Brillo with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Brillo has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
