With a record of 14 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ryuji Hatakenaka! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ozbourne on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. A jab from Hatakenaka does it's job there. Ozbourne moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Hatakenaka defending well as Ozbourne loads up on a big left hand. Hatakenaka staying out of range there. A little jabbing left from Hatakenaka on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Ozbourne throws a jab but it's blocked by Hatakenaka. Hatakenaka lands a leg kick that knocks Ozbourne off balance momentarily. Hatakenaka just misses with a punch to the body.
Ozbourne throws a series of punches but Hatakenaka moves out of range. Hatakenaka follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Oooooooooooh, not good. That was a close round but I would say that Ziggy Ozbourne will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action! Hatakenaka lands with a good body shot. Ziggy Ozbourne is winning the standup battle so far. Ozbourne does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Hatakenaka throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. Sitsongrit keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by Mein Armbach. Monkey manages to work his way to half guard, despite Mein Armbach's best efforts. Mein Armbach is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Monkey sees it coming and defends easily. Mein Armbach is working for a kimura but Monkey is defending it quite comfortably.
Monkey is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Monkey is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Mein Armbach's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Mein Armbach's back! Monkey is riding his opponent, not letting Mein Armbach buck him off. Mein Armbach has hold of Monkey's leg, trying to break free but it's let Monkey lock up a rear naked choke! This could be big trouble! Mein Armbach is turning an unusual color here… he's out! Monkey throws him to one side and jumps onto the cage to celebrate with his fans.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fuentes looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Fuentes walks into a stiff left hand from Blank. Fuentes uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Blank. Fuentes changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Blank jabs at Fuentes's body. A shot to the body from Blank misses and Fuentes counters with a nice double leg into guard. Blank seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Blank pulls Fuentes in close to his closed guard and prevents Fuentes from doing any damage or advancing position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Blank has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Fuentes seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Blank keeping moving, preventing Fuentes from controlling successfully. Blank tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Blank has momentary wrist control but Fuentes slips an elbow through the middle. Blank looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Blank keeping moving, preventing Fuentes from controlling successfully. Fuentes postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Blank looking for a sweep. Not yet Blank, not yet. Blank bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Fuentes's guard. Blank throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. That was a close round but I would say that Billy Blank will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Pedro Fuentes's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

That was a close round but I would say that Da Jiang will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Arroyo pivots, looking for a leg kick but Jiang is out of range and Arroyo settles back down. Arroyo scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Good standup being displayed there by Arroyo as he connects with a hook. Arroyo has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Jiang lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Arroyo has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Arroyo and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Arroyo keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 38 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mustafa Erdogan! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 18 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Presley Chai! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chai throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Erdogan swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Chai scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Chai dodges the punch combination from Erdogan.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Chai has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Chai darts in looking for a takedown but Erdogan gets double underhooks and turns Chai into the cage. Erdogan swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Chai takes a shot to the body in his stride.
