Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Angel Hernandez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 17 - 24 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Karel Sup! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Paulo Santos and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sup lands a body shot.
Hernandez lands a head kick. Sup smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Sup ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. We've been told by Hernandez's head coaches at Tran MMA Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Sup bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Hernandez takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Hernandez does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Hernandez misses with a body shot.
Sup on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Hernandez. Hernandez obviously looking to wear him down.

Hernandez stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hernandez wants it to stay on the feet. Hernandez scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sup pushing out the jab but it's not landing. That's two minutes gone in the round. An inside leg kick lands from Hernandez. Sup has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off. Hernandez moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Sup lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Sup walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Hernandez takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Hernandez is looking to wear down Sup with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Sup misses with a hook. Sup has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Sup blocks the body kick.

Hernandez went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Sup throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hernandez stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Excellent takedown into side control there by Sup. Sup is trying to ground and pound but Hernandez uses the momentary lack of control by Sup to regain half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sup with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Sup trying to mount his opponent but Hernandez defends it. Sup scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Sup is thwarting Hernandez's attempts to control the position. Sup not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Karel Sup has got the better of the ground game so far. Hernandez flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Hernandez regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Sup. Sup seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Sup landing with the ground and pound. Sup trying to control the position from guard on top but Hernandez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sup passes Hernandez's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Sup has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Sup thows a huge punch but Hernandez dodges it nicely.

Karel Sup showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round! Sup moves out of range of the strikes. Sup scores with a jab. Nice cross by Sup. Sup slips a jab and a cross from Hernandez.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Petrov manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Nti thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Petrov's head.
And that's the end of the fight! Ivan Petrov showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Petrov, winning every round. Will the judges agree? Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 35 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ezekiel Marley! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 19 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kristoph Kringle! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Leandro Rodrigues and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Kringle throws a body kick despite being completely out of range enabling Marley to counter with a crisp jab. It looks like Kristoph Kringle has been cut. A jab lands there for Marley. Marley cracks Kringle with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Kringle looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away can Marley finish him?

Marley fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kringle looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Kringle throws the kick towards the body but Marley avoids it.

Marley throws a quick counter kick to the body but Kringle avoids it. Marley blocks a jab. Marley is looking to counter punch. Kringle throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Marley counters with a lovely straight right hand! That has opened up Kristoph Kringle's cut even more.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Marley connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Kringle misses with the body kick and Marley counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Marley closes the distance looking to clinch and Kringle counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Marley gets off balance looking for a body kick letting Kringle counter with a right hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Marley ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. It looked like Marley wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Marley displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kringle throws out the jab. Kringle misses with the body kick and Marley connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. The cut above Kristoph Kringle's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Marley lands a nice shot to the body.

and Kringle counters with a nice kick to the body. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ezekiel Marley dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Marley moves out of range of the strikes. Marley is looking to counter punch. Kringle slips under a jab from Marley. Ezekiel Marley is winning the standup battle so far. Marley clinches with his opponent.

Kristoph Kringle's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. We've been told by Marley's head coaches at Convicted Fight Club that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. The referee calls the doctor in to look at Kristoph Kringle's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
