The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee throws a jab when Dixon was well out of range. Lee throws a sloppy body shot
and Dixon counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Lee fails to land with a series of punches.

Lee scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Lee darts in and out, connecting with a jab. A punch combination from Lee misses. And Dixon tries to counter it with a takedown but Lee pushes his down on his head and steps out. Lee lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lee connects with the punch. Some wild striking there from Lee.

and Dixon counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Lee! Dixon working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Dixon is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Lee is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Dixon looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Dixon has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Lee is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Dixon yanks on the arm and Lee is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Dixon.
