With a record of 41 - 38 - 0, fighting out of New York, Klay Dee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 15 - 22 - 0, fighting out of London, Scottie Lamez! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Summer Carpenter and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dee swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Lamez with a jab. Dee slips under a jab. A counter left hand to the body from Dee misses its target. Dee misses with a hook. Lamez ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Lamez moves away from the strike by Dee. Dee keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Lamez. Lamez moves out of range of the strikes. Lamez scores with a jab. Lamez checks a leg kick nicely. Dee takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Dee throws a jab when Lamez was well out of range. Jab, jab by Lamez - just one landing. Lamez connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dee throws a wild body kick that Lamez sees coming a mile off. Dee moves out of range of the strikes. Sloppy strikes from Dee. Those never looked like landing. Dee throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Dee tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Dee misses with a looping right. A little jabbing left from Lamez on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Lamez scores with a punch to the head. A big right from Dee misses. The fighters circling - Lamez throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Lamez misses with an uppercut. Lamez dodges the punch combination from Dee.
Dee is breathing heavily. Lamez cracks Dee with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dee gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

It looked like Dee was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Lamez throws an overhand right that lands on Dee's shoulder, as Dee tries to avoid the shot. Lamez dips to his left and cracks Dee with an uppercut! A slow jab from Lamez misses its intended target. Lamez lands a really nice looking cross but Dee seems unphased.

Dee throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Oh Dee is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Lamez closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Dee! Lamez dives in looking to finish! Dee is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. McIntyre throws out a powerful jab. That's one minute gone in the round. An inside leg kick lands from McIntyre. McIntyre fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Prix manages to avoid it. Prix tried to counter with a leg kick but McIntyre avoided it. McIntyre throws a right hand that misses
enabling Prix to counter with a crisp jab. McIntyre throws an off balance right hand
and Prix counters with a nice right hand that sends McIntyre toppling to the canvas! McIntyre scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Prix finish him?! McIntyre is still on wobbly legs! Can Prix finish him? McIntyre misses with a left hand and Prix counters with a crisp right hand that drops McIntyre! Prix lets McIntyre back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! McIntyre closes the distance but Prix moves to the side and Prix scores with a counter punch that sends McIntyre to the canvas! Prix smells blood - he's punishing McIntyre with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! McIntyre has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:08 of round 5, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cyrus Prix! Cyrus Prix retains his heavyweight title! After winning the bout, Cyrus Prix thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
