The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Coppola is trying hard to land a takedown here. Paa sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Paa digs a good body shot into Coppola's ribs. Paa dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Coppola. That did some damage! Coppola goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Paa has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Hidden in the buildup to the fight. Coppola takes one to the side of the head.

I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Nik is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. Korolev keeping moving, preventing Nik from controlling successfully. Nik working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
