Liee throws a series of punches but Veainu avoids them all with ease.
Veainu looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Liee looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Veainu moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Liee moves out of range as Veainu strikes.
Veainu lunges at Liee with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Liee's hand.
It looks like Brusse Liee has been cut.
Liee gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Veainu gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Liee is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Brownie Anderson.

Anderson has hold of Averescu's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Averescu manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Anderson moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Averescu has worked his arm free - good work by Averescu!

Anderson remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
