It looked like Randriamaholison was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Stukov.

Randriamaholison ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Stukov moves away.
Stukov throws a jab but it's blocked by Randriamaholison.
Randriamaholison takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Stukov's coach down at St Petersburg MMA Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Stukov's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

White feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Mauis jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
It looks like Tevita Maui has been cut.
The fighters circling - Maui throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
White lands a body shot.
Maui is breathing heavily.
White lands with a shot to the body.
White scores with a nice strike.
Maui walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Le Franc kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is [I Can't Get No] Satisfaction. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
Denver lands a nice hook to Veainu's body. Veainu takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Denver takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
