Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Make Makkonen (ranked 3660 p4p, 4941 weight class) and Bastien Montrose (ranked 135 p4p, 146 weight class). Makkonen comes to the cage accompanied by Epic Sax Guy - time to SMESH!. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice defenses there by Aldarisio. Aldarisio dives in for a single leg takedown but King sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Aldarisio drops down looking for an ankle pick but King pulls his leg out and moves away.
King lands with an overhand left. Aldarisio looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Good exchange - King coming out on top. King swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. King throws a right hand that Aldarisio ducks under and follows up with a left that Aldarisio also avoids with ease. King's jab looks to have found its range, popping Aldarisio under the eye. Aldarisio shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says King as he avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Josh Aldarisio. That's going to take a lot out of him. Aldarisio is trying hard to land a takedown here. King sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Aldarisio shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has King pinned against the cage. King gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. King ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. King lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Aldarisio closes the distance and clinches up with King, looking for a takedown. Aldarisio pushes King against the cage but King circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. A lazy left from King finds it's target. King lands a big head kick that sends Aldarisio tumbling to the mat! King takes a step backwards and waves Aldarisio back to his feet - he wants the finish! Aldarisio is rocked! King has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Aldarisio is landing a low percentage of strikes. King ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Aldarisio's jaw. Aldarisio's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! King does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fukumitsu is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by McBobbie. Fukumitsu misses with an uppercut. McBobbie drops down looking for a counter takedown but Fukumitsu sprawls and moves away. McBobbie has been working on his boxing with his coaches at London Sambo House in the buildup to the fight. McBobbie misses with an uppercut. Fukumitsu's coach down at Gold Samurai\'s Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Fukumitsu's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Fukumitsu slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. McBobbie misses with a looping left. Fukumitsu takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Nice jab there from Fukumitsu. Fukumitsu looks to throw the jab but McBobbie is out of range. McBobbie slips a jab from Fukumitsu. McBobbie takes a swing at Fukumitsu's ribcage but misses. Fukumitsu misses the jab. McBobbie scores with the left hand. Fukumitsu knows he should have avoided that one. Fukumitsu jabbing away but nothing is landing. McBobbie with a nice cross. The fighters circling - Fukumitsu throws out the jab but it was never going to land. McBobbie tries to counter with a takedown but Fukumitsu is quick to defend against it. This has been an exciting period of action! McBobbie throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Fukumitsu was covering up waiting for the punch and McBobbie finishes the takedown easily into guard. Fukumitsu wants to stand and escape but McBobbie is having none of it.

Fukumitsu displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as McBobbie throws out the jab. McBobbie bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. McBobbie is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Fukumitsu connects with a good right hand that stumbles McBobbie. McBobbie circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
