The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aztlan with a hook. It looks like Chris Pauschi has been cut. Aztlan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Aztlan throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Pauschi feinted there with a counter leg kick. Aztlan uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Pauschi has time to react. A big left from Aztlan misses. Aztlan throws a hook to the side of Pauschi's head but Pauschi sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pauschi uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Aztlan. Pauschi fires out a quick counter leg kick but Aztlan just manages to avoid it. Pauschi is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
