 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bridges pushes Geghan up against the cage in a clinch. Geghan tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Geghan jumps guard and drags Bridges to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Bridges wants to get up but he can't break Geghan's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Bridges trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Bridges loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Geghan manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bridges manages to get himself to full guard.

Geghan avoids the attempt from Bridges to control. Geghan lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Geghan trying to control but Bridges is having none of it. Geghan postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Bridges looks a forlorn figure.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Adebo misses with an uppercut

It looks like Jeff Christ has been cut. Jeff Christ seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Christ shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Adebo sprawls well. Adebo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Christ gets slowly back to his feet. It seemed like Adebo was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Christ goes for a double leg but Adebo avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Adebo continues to drive forward. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Adebo! But no joy. Adebo swings wildly with an uppercut but Christ uses good head movement to avoid it. A close second round but Uzochukwu Adebo will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Jeff Christ's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Jeff Christ overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Christ wants to control from the top but Adebo keeps moving. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Christ accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

 We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Christ is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Adebo is not content to let Christ control the position. Christ looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Adebo with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rivera dives in and grabs Mckinney's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mckinney pushes down on Rivera's head and hops out. Mckinney lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Mckinney lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Rivera at a distance.
The fighters circle momentarily. Mckinney darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Mckinney closes the distance and clinches. Mckinney scores with a shot to the side of Rivera's head. Rivera tries to score a body lock takedown but Mckinney shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Mckinney lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Rivera is rocked! Mckinney creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Rivera's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Rivera drops to his knees and Mckinney pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Brussard thuds his shin into the meat of Stevens's side. We've been told by Brussard's head coaches at ubergym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Brussard digs a good hook to Stevens's body.
Stevens on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Stevens throws a hook to the side of Brussard's head but Brussard sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Stevens checks a leg kick. Brussard throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

I was talking to Van Elburg's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Van Elburg creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. With a record of 17 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Greggory Silalahi! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Colin Fray and Chris Saunders.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silalahi throws a front kick aimed at Yordan's knee but Yordan avoids it well. A swing and a miss from Yordan. Silalahi needs to keep his hands up - Yordan had a free shot at his head there. Silalahi tests Yordan's chin there with a solid looking shot. Yordan swings for the body but Silalahi moves out of range.

Bird shoots for a double leg takedown but Perry sprawls well. He's pushed Bird's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Bird does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Perry throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Bird lands a really nice looking cross but Perry seems unphased.

Perry defending well as Bird loads up on a big left hand. Good standup being displayed there by Perry as he connects with a hook. Decent striking displayed by Bird there. Perry takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Perry throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Bird counters with a nice body shot. Perry jabs Bird to the body, keeping him at a distance. Bird has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Perry. Good shot there by Perry. Bird throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Perry digs a good body shot into Bird's ribs. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Perry slips a straight right by Bird. Perry moves out of range of the body kick. An attempted straight right counter from Perry misses the target. Perry checks a low kick from Bird.  That's one minute gone in the round. Bird scores with a jab. Bird misses the jab. Perry avoids a lazy jab quite easily. A jab from Bird finds it's way through Perry's defenses. Perry has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Perry there as he acknowledges the shot. Bird is looking to clinch. Perry listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Bird ducks under a wild hook from Perry. Perry lands with an uppercut that bounces Bird off the cage and back into range. Perry throws a leg kick but Bird sees it coming and checks it nicely. Bird misses with a left hand and Perry counters with a solid body kick. Perry avoids the body shot from Bird.
Bird tries to close the distance and clinch up but Perry swats him away and circles back towards the center. Perry feinted there with a counter leg kick.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Bird lands a jab to the nose. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Perry scores with the left hand. Bird knows he should have avoided that one. Bird throws a left and a right that both miss

An out of breath Kawainui Perry thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
