Christie has chosen Amityville as his entrance music. Steven Christie told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! Roll shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Case eats them both and turns towards Roll to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
It looks like Justin Case has been cut.
Roll throws a leg kick that is checked

so Case counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Case controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Roll looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Case preventing the sweep.
Roll working a defensive guard but Case manages to pass into side control anyway.
Case remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
