With a record of 37 - 36 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bryant Smith! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 12 - 33 - 2, fighting out of New York, Medieval Mercenary! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Saam Ante and Patrick Alders.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mercenary waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Smith. Smith throws a nice outside leg kick. Smith fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Mercenary has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Smith moves out of range as Mercenary strikes. Smith blocks the body kick.
Mercenary on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Mercenary swings for the body but Smith moves out of range.
Smith cracks a nice hook into Mercenary's ribs. Smith bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Smith moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Mercenary waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Smith. Smith is looking to counter with a body kick. Smith with the inside leg kick. Smith connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Good leg kick by Smith. Smith dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Mercenary. That did some damage! Mercenary is looking to chop away at Smith's legs. Bryant Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Smith throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Mercenary stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Mercenary fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Mercenary takes a shot right to the bread basket. Smith lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Decent striking displayed by Smith there. Mercenary throws a hook but Smith avoids it easily. Mercenary walks straight into devastating uppercut and drops to the floor, clearly wobbled! Can he beat the count? 4,5,6,7... he's up! And he's down again! The ref steps in and calls an end to the fight! What a punch that was!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sturmovik's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Diego connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Sturmovik scrambles back to his feet. We've been told by Diego's head coaches at KO MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Jab, jab by Diego - just one landing.
It looks like Kirov Sturmovik has been cut. Diego scores with a hook to the body. Sturmovik takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Diego fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Krajisnik throws a looping overhand right but Elizondo ducks down to avoid it. Good shot there by Elizondo. Elizondo lands with a nice body punch. Krajisnik takes a swing at Elizondo's ribcage but misses. Elizondo fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Krajisnik. Elizondo throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Krajisnik fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Elizondo manages to avoid it.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Murphy on the wrong end of a nice jab. Murphy looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Phoenix Peterson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Peterson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Peterson attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Peterson throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Murphy scores a flash knockdown with a right hook that drops Peterson to his hands and knees! The ref pushes Murphy away as he looks to land an illegal blow. Peterson got an extra few seconds to recover there, which could have made all the differences as he stumbles back to his feet. The referee looks into his eyes and decides to allow the bout to continue. Can he survive?!

and Murphy counters with a big uppercut that nearly lifts Peterson off his feet! Peterson crashes to the mat in all kinds of trouble!  The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No joy there for Chai, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Vogels looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Chai thumps Vogels with a low kick. We've been told by Chai's head coaches at Master Chai's Dojo that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Chai moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Chai looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Vogels misses with the body kick letting Chai counter with a right hand. Vogels takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Vogels lands with a kick to the temple. Chai shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Vogels misses with a looping right. Chai loads up on a big right hand but Vogels slips the punch. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Vogels.

This has been an exciting period of action! Vogels throws a lazy body kick and Chai counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Vogels misses with a kick to the body and Chai cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Vogels's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Chai rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and as Chai resets, Vogels pounces with a savage head kick that drops Chai to the mat! Chai looks wobbly but gets back to his feet on the count of 5. The referee continues the count to 8 then steps aside to let these two guys get back at it! Bigi Boi Chai is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Vogels connects with a quick right hand that sends Chai tumbling backwards onto the canvas! As his head bounces into the cage, it doesn't look good for him beating the count! 3,4,5,6,7 and he's up! No, he's back down again! This one is all over - the referee has called off the fight!

With a record of 48 - 30 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bardia Farrokhzad! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 30 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pee Wee Sasaki! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Saam Ante and Albert Achterberg.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from Sasaki. Farrokhzad jabbing away but nothing is landing. Farrokhzad looks to score with a jab to the body but Sasaki is just out of range. Sasaki misses with a straight right. Sasaki buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

A head kick from Sasaki lands but Farrokhzad takes it in his stride. Sasaki has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Sasaki walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Farrokhzad looks to throw the jab but Sasaki is out of range. Farrokhzad lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
It looks like Pee Wee Sasaki has been cut. Jab by Farrokhzad. Sasaki fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Nice shot lands for Farrokhzad. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A shot to the body from Farrokhzad misses and Sasaki counters with a lovely straight right hand! Farrokhzad misses with a straight left. Sasaki jabbing away but nothing is landing. Sasaki slips a jab and a cross from Farrokhzad.
Sasaki feints a counter leg kick. Farrokhzad ducks under a wild hook from Sasaki. Farrokhzad looks to score with a jab to the body but Sasaki is just out of range. Sasaki closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Sasaki throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Farrokhzad tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sasaki swats him away and circles back towards the center. Sasaki feints a counter leg kick. Sasaki swings away with a leg kick that misses. Farrokhzad scores with a shot to the body.
Farrokhzad looks to land a right hand but Sasaki moved out of range. Sasaki misses with an uppercut. Farrokhzad saw that one coming.
Sasaki gets tackled into the cage by Farrokhzad. Farrokhzad maintains the clinch. Sasaki misses with a punch to the body.
Sasaki misses with the head strike.
Sasaki throws a head punch that misses. Farrokhzad fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Farrokhzad is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Sasaki is defending well for now. Sasaki misses with the head strike.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Sasaki throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Our sources have told us that Farrokhzad has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight. Sasaki blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Sasaki takes a knee right on the jaw!

Farrokhzad can't find room to land a body shot as Sasaki controls the action.

Farrokhzad lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Sasaki has a couple of punches blocked by Farrokhzad.

Sasaki is rocked! Farrokhzad creates a bit of space for himself and unleashed what can only be described as a tiger uppercut, straight out of Street Fighter! Sasaki crashes to the mat! Can he make it back to his feet in time? 3,4,5,6... it doesn't look like he's going to make it! Sasaki face plants back to the mat and the referee calls off the fight! Farrokhzad takes it with a brutal technical knockout!
