Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between James Kirk (ranked 2516 p4p, 2248 weight class) and Sora Izanagi (ranked 278 p4p, 253 weight class). Kirk kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is my fighting ability is alot like my acting. Sora Izanagi told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Izanagi tries to close the distance and clinch but Kirk swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Oooooh!!! Kirk has knocked Izanagi down with a huge combo! Kirk steps away and waves a wobbly Izanagi back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Sora Izanagi has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kirk sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Izanagi's defenses. It connects perfectly with Izanagi's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mabahong Tae (ranked 28 p4p, 63 weight class) and Presley Chai (ranked 5 p4p, 8 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Presley Chai!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Colin Fray and Paul Gruel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chai bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Tae's head.

It looks like Mabahong Tae has been cut.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Chai working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Chai got a little sloppy there for a moment and Tae has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Chai has managed to get both his arms back between Tae's legs - danger averted.
