The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've been told by Stahl's head coaches at Bronk´s GYM that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Stahl wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Stahl on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Stahl lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Kock misses the shot to the body.
Stahl throws a body punch but Kock moves out of range.
Kock moves into range and connects with a jab.
Stahl takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Batang Kock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kock shoots in looking for a takedown. Stahl tries to sprawl out of it but Kock keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stahl manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Paul Stahl has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Batang Kock.
Kock changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stahl tries to avoid it but Kock manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stahl to the ground. Stahl escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Kock from any more punishment! Kock complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
