This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Blank might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far. Torvik throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Blank counters with a nice uppercut. Torvik uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Blank.
Blank has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. Blank moves away from the strike by Torvik. Torvik throws a right hand that misses

Torvik lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Blank throws a right hand that Torvik ducks under and follows up with a left that Torvik also avoids with ease. Oh Blank is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Torvik lands a leg kick that knocks Blank off balance momentarily. Blank seems to have got his legs back now.
Torvik lands a big uppercut and Blank crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Blank looks OK. Torvik waves Blank back to his feet! Blank glances at the clock... BAM! Torvik nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Blank crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Blank is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!

Sven Torvik decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way. Billy Blank spoke after the fight, saying 'I lost focus and i paid for it. it was a great fight and i am coming back much better.'.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Walton throws a jab but it's blocked by Egyptian. Walton throws a poor cross that misses
and Egyptian counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Walton gets full guard. Egyptian trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Egyptian has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Egyptian pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Walton is keeping the position for now. Egyptian wants to control from the top but Walton keeps moving. Walton really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. O Brien unleashes a big counter combination but Dorado bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Dorado scores with a body shot.
