 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bojan Lukic! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Eklund thows a body kick. Lukic tries to catch it but that hurt him. We've been hearing reports that Eklund has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Eklund with a nice calf kick. Eklund throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Lukic counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Lukic looks to score with a jab to the body but Eklund is just out of range. Eklund connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Lukic's hands. That kick from Eklund tenderised Lukic's leg. Lukic is trying to keep his angry face on. Eklund circles away from the clinch attempt.
Eklund turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. A combination from Eklund does no damage. Eklund ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Lukic avoids a punch combination nicely.

Eklund fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Lukic. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Eklund misses with a double jab

Eklund bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Eklund tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Eklund has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Lukic really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Eklund. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Eklund is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Lukic is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Lukic tries to buck Eklund off but Eklund is having none of it.
Eklund decides to stand back up. Eklund throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Eklund plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Eklund misses with a wild combination.

Eklund is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Lukic to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Lukic shrugs it off. Eklund controlling from the full mount.

Lukic looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Eklund turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Hugo Eklund seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Eklund fails with a takedown attempt. Lukic misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Eklund.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Eklund throws a leg kick which misses Lukic's front leg but catches the back leg as Lukic tries to avoid it. Lukic swings widly with a right hand

Lukic darts in trying to clinch The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. and Eklund counters with a one-two to the body. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Eklund cracks Lukic with a good jab. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Eklund passes Lukic's left leg - he's now in half guard. Lukic is looking for a sweep. Eklund is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vartija clobbers Pena with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
It looks like Conor Pena has been cut. Pena has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Soul Supremacy Rio in the buildup to the fight. Vartija throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Vartija throws a jab but it's blocked by Pena. Vartija lands with a kick to the temple. Pena shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Vartija tries to bum rush Pena with a series of wild strikes but Pena uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Pena is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Vartija takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Pena swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Data goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Turtle has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Data checks a leg kick. Decent striking displayed by Data there. Data fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Turtle manages to avoid it. Turtle throws a shot from downtown. Data moves away and avoids it. Turtle keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Data.
Data gets a takedown into half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Turtle tries to get to full guard but Data has control of the leg. Nice strikes from Data there.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Turtle controls Data momentarily but Data frees himself. Data postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.  That's two minutes gone in the round. Data throws out a loose jab but Turtle uses good head movement to avoid it. Turtle looks for the body kick but Data saw that one coming. Data throws an overhand right that lands on Turtle's shoulder, as Turtle tries to avoid the shot. Data on the wrong end of a nice jab. Data bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Turtle misses with an uppercut. Data saw that one coming. Data misses with a lunging right hand
and Data takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Data uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Data walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Turtle on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Data fails to land the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lieutenant Data. That's going to take a lot out of him. Data changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Turtle tries to avoid it but Data manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Turtle to the ground. Turtle escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Data fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Turtle manages to avoid it. Data jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Data getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Turtle throws a body shot but no joy. Turtle closes the distance but Data moves to the side and Data counters with a lovely straight right hand! Turtle connects with a solid leg kick. Data ducks under a wild hook from Turtle. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Turtle gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Data to score an easy takedown into full guard. Lieutenant Data overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Turtle is trying to keep Data in close.

War Turtle showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

A low kick from Data misses and Turtle connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Turtle throws a leg kick but Data moved away. Data dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Turtle takes a shot to the body in his stride.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Vaughan walks into a left hand. Velasquez takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

That was a close round but I would say that Rodrigo Caceres will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Nichols throws the left hand but Caceres avoids the punch easily. Nichols thuds his right hand into Caceres's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Caceres ducks right into an uppercut from Nichols. Nichols wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Horrible takedown attempt by Caceres or perhaps it was just good defense by Nichols, which made it look bad. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rodrigo Caceres. That's going to take a lot out of him.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gurnisson works the jab nicely. Gurnisson tests Castillo's chin there with a solid looking shot. Castillo throws a head kick that misses. Castillo feints and then cracks Gurnisson's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Gurnisson down. Castillo lands a slapping body shot.
