Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 15 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Aljosa Medeiros! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 22 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Diego Lacasa! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Seu Braga and Felipe Paraventi.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lacasa missing with a left hand there. Medeiros was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Medeiros gets a takedown into half guard. Medeiros not landing any meaningful shots this time. Medeiros is stalling here. Lacasa is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Medeiros seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Lacasa has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Medeiros is not content to let Lacasa control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lacasa is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Medeiros's shoulder. That is not cool. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lacasa's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Lacasa might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Medeiros haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Medeiros tries to get back to half guard but can't.  The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Medeiros tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lacasa was well out of range. Poor timing from Medeiros. A nice side step and Lacasa releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Medeiros takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Lacasa avoids a lazy jab quite easily. The fighters circling - Lacasa throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Lacasa cracks a nice hook into Medeiros's ribs. Medeiros was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Diego Lacasa seems to be getting the better of the standup. Lacasa throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Medeiros stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Medeiros ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Lacasa ducks under a wild hook from Medeiros.

Medeiros lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Medeiros throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Menes Kai was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Bonaparte throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Bonaparte gets off balance looking for a body kick and Bonaparte takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Olyksandr Chai's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. With a record of 29 - 15 - 0, fighting out of London, Ghost Chai! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Thiago Cunha and Mauricio Rocha.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shida moves away from the strike by Chai. Chai connects with a body shot. Ghost Chai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Chai tries a head kick but it misses.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Chai tests Shida's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Chai has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. And that's the end of the fight! Ghost Chai comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Chai has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
