Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stevo Caruga (ranked 1391 p4p, 2857 weight class) and Turner Meeks (ranked 207 p4p, 383 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 16 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Stevo Caruga! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Turner Meeks! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Atkins and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Caruga avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Meeks tries to close the distance and clinch but Caruga swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Meeks pushes Caruga up against the cage in a clinch. With the fighters up against the cage, Meeks throws an elbow but misses. Caruga fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

It looks like Stevo Caruga has been cut. Caruga jumps guard but Meeks stands there with Caruga around his waist. Caruga gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Caruga is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Meeks wants to get up but he can't break Caruga's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Caruga looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Caruga is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Meeks manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Meeks has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Caruga is proving hard to escape from.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Caruga looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Meeks is defending well. Caruga quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Meeks has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Caruga celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
