Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Macho Man Randy (ranked 254 p4p, 602 weight class) and Norman Boma (ranked 35 p4p, 79 weight class). Boma has chosen La Calin as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Macho Man Randy!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Norman Boma!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Trevor Gratis and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boma misses the shot to the body.
Randy misses with a double jab
and Boma counters with an inside leg kick.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Boma tries to throw a body punch but Randy avoids it by throwing Boma back against the cage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Randy lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
We've been informed that Boma has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Boma throws a punch but it's blocked by Randy.

Randy has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Boma uses from the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Randy has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Boma is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Randy.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Randy tightens his grip and picks Boma up, before dumping him to the ground. Boma manages to land in guard.
Boma has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Randy is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Boma throws an overhand right that drops Randy like a sack of potatoes! Boma dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!

After winning the bout, Norman Boma thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
