Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Odin Markkanen (ranked 89 p4p, 144 weight class) and Graham Mantle (ranked 10 p4p, 14 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 14 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Odin Markkanen! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 25 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Graham Mantle! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Paul Tew and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mantle throws a body punch but Markkanen moves out of range. Markkanen displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Mantle throws out the jab. Markkanen lands a leg kick that knocks Mantle off balance momentarily. Mantle swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Mantle chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Markkanen can pounce on him.

Mantle is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
