Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chris Bibi (ranked 1554 p4p, 2689 weight class) and Horacio Sadaval (ranked 202 p4p, 335 weight class). Sadaval has chosen Prohibido Olvidar as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Chris Bibi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Horacio Sadaval! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bibi misses with a wild combination.
Sadaval moves into the clinch. Bibi prevents a takedown attempt there.
Bibi misses with some punches.
Sadaval lands on the inside with an uppercut. Bibi tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Sadaval lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Sadaval pulls guard effortlessly. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sadaval preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bibi throws a big right hand that misses. Sadaval wants to get back to his feet but Bibi is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bibi with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Bibi keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Sadaval's head. Sadaval preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Bibi postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Sadaval wants to stand but Bibi is controlling the position. Bibi stands up over Sadaval, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bibi throws an elbow that misses. Sadaval uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bibi's guard. Nice move by Sadaval! Sadaval trying to stand up but can't free himself from Bibi's guard. Sadaval is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Bibi had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Sadaval defends it easily. Sadaval wants to get up but he can't break Bibi's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bibi is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Bibi is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

It looks like Sadaval is going to stand back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Sadaval prevents Bibi from improving his position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sadaval wants to stand up but Bibi is controlling the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Bibi cracks Sadaval with a good jab. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Chris Bibi will probably get the nod. That's time! Bibi's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Bibi connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Bibi wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Sadaval closes the distance and clinches. Sadaval lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Bibi struggles to land a body shot inside as Sadaval controls his hands.

Bibi looking for a takedown. Bibi drops down looking for an ankle pick but Sadaval pulls his leg out and moves away.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sadaval. Bibi fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chris Bibi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sadaval goes for a double leg but Bibi avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Bibi continues to drive forward. No luck for Sadaval with that takedown attempt. Bibi shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sadaval sprawls well. Sadaval wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bibi gets slowly back to his feet. Sadaval shoots for a double leg takedown but Bibi sprawls well. He's pushed Sadaval's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Sadaval tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bibi manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Sadaval showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Bibi.
Bibi will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sadaval has closed the distance and engaged Bibi in a clinch.
Bibi tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Bibi is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Sadaval is defending well. Sadaval lands with a light punch inside. Bibi fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Horacio Sadaval seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Bibi tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Sadaval gets control of Bibi's arms and successfully pulls guard. Sadaval will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Bibi throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sadaval works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Bibi scoring with some ground and pound. Sadaval wants to get back to his feet but Bibi is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Sadaval clinches. A hook to the body from Sadaval.
Sadaval lands with a left to the head. Sadaval lands with a short shot to the head. Sadaval blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Sadaval jumps guard and drags Bibi to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Bibi trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Bibi throws a big elbow that misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bibi throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Sadaval wants to stand up but Bibi is controlling him. Bibi throws a big elbow that misses. Bibi keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Sadaval's head. Bibi postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Sadaval is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Bibi with a flurry of punches that miss. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Horacio Sadaval will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round! Sadaval has a takedown stuffed. Sadaval clinches with his opponent.
Bibi is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Sadaval turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Bibi tries to buck Sadaval off but Sadaval is having none of it. Bibi wants to control but Sadaval postures up. Sadaval wants to stand but Bibi has his arm trapped. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bibi sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Bibi trying to control here.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Sadaval working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bibi is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Sadaval pulls his head out easily. Bibi wants to get back to full guard.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Bibi connects with a nice looking jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Sadaval rushes Bibi and presses him up against the cage. Bibi misses with a hook from the clinch. Bibi's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Sadaval lands a right hand. Sadaval has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Bibi regains guard immediately. Sadaval avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Sadaval would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Bibi has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Sadaval pushes Bibi up against the cage in a clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Sadaval digs a right hand underneath Bibi's ribcage. Bibi let out a lung full of air as it connected. Sadaval lands a left hand that snaps the head of Bibi backwards. Sadaval tries for a takedown but Bibi manages to get underhooks.

Bibi working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Bibi postures up in Sadaval's guard and throws a big left but Sadaval blocks it. Sadaval is looking to stand up but Bibi isn't so interested in that idea. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Sadaval avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Sadaval wants to stand up but Bibi is controlling him.
And that's the end of the fight! Horacio Sadaval comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Sadaval has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
