Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cyril Cizek (ranked 1716 p4p, 2902 weight class) and Hoodoo Brown (ranked 154 p4p, 263 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brown tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Brown with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Cizek to score with a decent uppercut.

Brown is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Cizek sees it coming and defends easily.
Cizek is trying to stand up here but Brown is controlling him well.

Brown is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Cizek is just riding it out for now. Brown eventually gives up the hold.
Cizek knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Brown on the ground.
