Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Adrian Picklesbly (ranked 458 p4p, 402 weight class) and Miguel Azevedo Souza (ranked 72 p4p, 61 weight class). Picklesbly comes to the cage accompanied by Angels in Heaven - Chris Rodrigues & the Spoon Lady. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Azevedo Souza takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
The fighters circling - Picklesbly throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Picklesbly throws a solid leg kick but Azevedo Souza takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Picklesbly.
Picklesbly lands a two punch combo.
It looks like Miguel Azevedo Souza has been cut.
Picklesbly swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

As Azevedo Souza tries to get set, Picklesbly tries to push him back and clinch up but Azevedo Souza manages to avoid the attempt.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Azevedo Souza has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
