The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonanza ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Ivkov throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Bonanza.

It looks like Benson Bonanza has been cut.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ivkov lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bonanza circles away quickly and effectively.
A nice side step and Bonanza releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Ivkov throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Bonanza! But no joy.

Ivkov is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Ivkov lands with a kick to the temple. Bonanza shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

That has opened up Benson Bonanza's cut even more.
Ivkov works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Ivkov throws a right hand that Bonanza ducks under and follows up with a left that Bonanza also avoids with ease.
Bonanza is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Ivkov with a body shot.
Ivkov throws a one two combo.

Bonanza bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Bonanza! But no joy.
Ivkov fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bonanza manages to avoid it.
Ivkov cracks a nice hook into Bonanza's ribs.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bonanza looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.
Ivkov lands a nice shot that snaps Bonanza's head back.
Bonanza takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Ivkov catches Bonanza with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

The cut above Benson Bonanza's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Ivkov pounces like a tiger and cracks Bonanza with a vicious hook! Bonanza is down but not out! Ivkov follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
