Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Macho Man Randy (ranked 108 p4p, 277 weight class) and Norman Boma (ranked 16 p4p, 35 weight class). Boma has chosen Drowning Pool - Bodies as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Macho Man Randy!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Norman Boma!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, David Schapiro and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boma looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Randy cracks Boma with a good jab.
Boma throws a looping overhand right but Randy ducks down to avoid it.
Boma is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Boma slips a straight right by Randy.
Boma throws out a counter right but Randy avoids it with no problem.
Randy looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Randy is thwarting Boma's attempts to control the position.
Randy is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Randy trying to control the action but Boma is working from the bottom.
Boma is trying to stand.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Boma preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Randy is working for a kimura but Boma is defending it quite comfortably.
Randy is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Boma defends it well.
Randy looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Randy is working for a kimura but Boma is defending it quite comfortably.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Randy is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Boma doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Randy.
Randy is keen to just control but Boma is a slippery customer.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Randy is working for a kimura but Boma is defending it quite comfortably.
Randy is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Boma sees it coming and defends easily.
Randy is working for a submission of some sort.
Randy is just content to waste time from the top position. Boma takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Randy drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Boma dives on top into guard.
Boma content to stall in guard here.
Randy is pulling down on Boma's head. It's preventing any offense from Boma, at least for the moment.
Randy might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Randy working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Boma has passed into half guard!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Randy wants to control but Boma is keeping busy and won't allow it.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Macho Man Randy dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Randy misses with a right hand
and Boma counters with a nice uppercut.
Randy throws a looping overhand right but Boma ducks down to avoid it.
Boma cracks Randy with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Boma ducks under a wild hook from Randy.
Randy moves to clinch but Boma breaks away
and Boma counters with a crisp right that sends Randy to the canvas! Boma follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Norman Boma!
Norman Boma is the new welterweight champion!
Norman Boma spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
