Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Principo Adam (ranked 134 p4p, 428 weight class) and Gurizuri Nakamura (ranked 19 p4p, 64 weight class). Adam comes into the arena with Dona Eis Requiem blaring out of the sound system. Principo Adam has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Principo Adam!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 18 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gurizuri Nakamura!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nakamura defending well as Adam loads up on a big left hand.
Adam lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Nakamura fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Adam on the side of the head.
Adam misses with a hook. Nakamura ducked under it nicely.
Adam bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Nakamura closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Adam's guard.
Nakamura stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Adam swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Nakamura with a flurry of punches that miss.
Nakamura makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Adam pulls Nakamura in close to prevent any damage.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Nakamura working his ground and pound in the gym.
Nakamura has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Nakamura stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Adam throws up his legs and catches Nakamura in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Nakamura tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Adam! That came out of nowhere!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Principo Adam!
Principo Adam bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
