Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vladamir Fedetenko (ranked 39 p4p, 118 weight class) and Antti Railio (ranked 5 p4p, 6 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 17 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vladamir Fedetenko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 22 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Antti Railio! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Sosuke Kotani and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Railio throws a poor cross that misses
and Fedetenko counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Antti Railio has been cut. Fedetenko scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Fedetenko looks to throw the jab but Railio is out of range. Railio doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Fedetenko swings widly with a right hand
and Railio counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Railio throws a lazy uppercut

and Railio takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Nice uppercut there from Railio. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Fedetenko throws an off balance right hand
and Railio counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Fedetenko thinking.
That's one minute gone in the round. Railio missing with a left hand there. Fedetenko was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Fedetenko walks into a straight right hand from Railio. Railio throws a big shot that misses. Railio fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Fedetenko manages to avoid it. Fedetenko uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Railio has time to react. Fedetenko misses with an uppercut. A little jabbing left from Railio on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Fedetenko is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Fedetenko misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Railio counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Fedetenko misses with a hook. Railio ducked under it nicely. A little jabbing left from Railio on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fedetenko's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Railio connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Fedetenko scrambles back to his feet. Railio with a jab. A slow jab from Railio misses its intended target. Railio misses with a jab to the body
and Fedetenko cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. This has been an exciting period of action! Railio avoids the body shot from Fedetenko.
Fedetenko shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

A little jabbing left from Railio on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Fedetenko takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A telegraphed right hand from Fedetenko misses the target. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Railio! But no joy. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Fedetenko throws out a loose jab but Railio uses good head movement to avoid it. Railio is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Fedetenko with a body shot. Nice cross by Railio. Railio scores with a crisp jab that stopped Fedetenko in his tracks. Fedetenko missing with a left hand there. Railio was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Railio throws a body punch but Fedetenko moves out of range. Railio is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Fedetenko had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush. Railio avoids the body shot from Fedetenko.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Railio throws the left hand but Fedetenko avoids the punch easily. As Railio tries to get set, Fedetenko tries to push him back and clinch up but Railio manages to avoid the attempt. Nice straight punches there by Fedetenko. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Fedetenko.
That has opened up Antti Railio's cut even more. Fedetenko throws out a loose jab but Railio uses good head movement to avoid it. Railio misses with a wild body shot. A quick step to the side and Fedetenko tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Railio bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. A telegraphed right hand from Fedetenko misses the target. A nice side step and Railio releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. The fighters circling - Fedetenko throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Railio let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Railio swings widly with a right hand
and Fedetenko counters with a lovely straight right hand! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Vladamir Fedetenko will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Railio with a hook. Railio looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. A big left from Fedetenko misses. Fedetenko sends Railio crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Fedetenko is motioning to the referee to let Railio up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet! Fedetenko misses with an uppercut. This has been an exciting period of action! Railio ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Fedetenko takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. A telegraphed right hand from Railio misses the target. Railio steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Fedetenko. Railio looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fedetenko slips under a jab from Railio. Fedetenko was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Fedetenko lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Fedetenko is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Railio throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Fedetenko throws an off balance right hand
and Railio counters with a right hand to the body. Vladamir Fedetenko is winning the standup battle so far. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Railio connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Fedetenko scores with a hook. Fedetenko keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Railio. Fedetenko is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Railio. We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Railio in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Railio drops Fedetenko with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Fedetenko looks back up at him and smiles so Railio waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Railio loads up on a big right hand but Fedetenko slips the punch. Fedetenko tries to counter by clinching up but Railio breaks away and moves out of range. Railio lands a big right hand that sends Fedetenko crashing to the mat! Railio stays standing though and waves Fedetenko back to his feet! Railio bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Railio stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Railio misses with a hook. Fedetenko ducked under it nicely. An attempted straight right counter from Fedetenko misses the target.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A swing and a miss from Railio. Fedetenko swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Fedetenko swings and misses with a shot to the body and Railio counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Railio swings and misses with a hook to the body.

The cut above Antti Railio's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Fedetenko staying out of range there. Railio misses with a straight right. Fedetenko missing with a left hand there. Railio ducks down and throws a hook to the body. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Fedetenko with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Railio to score with a decent uppercut. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Antti Railio showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards. Railio ducks under a wild hook from Fedetenko. It seemed like Railio was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. The fighters circling - Railio throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Railio feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Fedetenko sprawling to the canvas! Fedetenko rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Railio finish him?!
Railio looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Fedetenko misses with a hook
and Railio counters with a right hand from hell and Fedetenko is out cold! A vicious knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Antti Railio! An out of breath Antti Railio thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
