With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Malig Mferi!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Sergei Dronov and Fedor Mirinova.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mferi fails with an attempt to clinch.
Mferi throws a hook but Inhanamoto avoids it easily.
A punch lands to the side of Mferi 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Mferi takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Mferi misses with a looping right.
Mferi misses with a body shot.
Inhanamoto swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Mferi doesn't manage to clinch there - Inhanamoto circles away.
Mferi misses with an uppercut
letting Inhanamoto counter with a right hand.
Mferi lands a nice shot to the body.
Mferi feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Inhanamotos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

It looks like Ryu Inhanamoto has been cut.

Mferi gets a clinch.
Inhanamoto can't break the clinch.
Inhanamoto throws a punch but it's blocked by Mferi.

Inhanamoto manages to break the clinch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Inhanamoto keeps the fight on the outside.

and Inhanamoto takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

and Inhanamoto counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Mferi throws a predictable looking body shot
and Inhanamoto counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Inhanamoto stuns Mferi with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Inhanamoto throws a right hand that misses
enabling Mferi to counter with a crisp jab.
Mferi misses with a looping left.
Mferi throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Inhanamoto fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Mferi is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.

Inhanamoto uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Mferi.
Mferi fails with an attempt to clinch.
It looked like Inhanamoto was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Mferi.
Mferi throws the left hand but Inhanamoto avoids the punch easily.
Malig Mferi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Inhanamoto throws a series of punches but Mferi avoids them all with ease.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Inhanamoto counters with a nice right hand that sends Mferi toppling to the canvas! Mferi scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Inhanamoto finish him?!

Inhanamoto batters Mferi with a massive right followed by a huge left! Mferi is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Inhanamoto lands a final crushing right hand to drop Mferi to the mat with a gruesome thud! Inhanamoto is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Ryu Inhanamoto!
