Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 24 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Abdul Keji! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 24 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Eemeli Lampi! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Emerson Jorge and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lampi is looking to slow Keji down with leg kicks. Lampi blocks a jab. Keji cracks Lampi with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Keji throws a jab but it's blocked by Lampi. Keji really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Keji throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lampi sees it coming and avoids it easily. Keji loads up on a big right hand but Lampi slips the punch. Lampi throws a shot from downtown. Keji moves away and avoids it. No joy there for Keji, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lampi looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. A big left from Keji misses. Lampi looks like he wants to counter punch here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Keji throws an off balance right hand
and Lampi counters with a lovely straight right hand! Lampi misses with a hook
and Keji counters with a nice uppercut. Keji misses with a hook
and Lampi counters with a crisp right hand that drops Keji! Lampi lets Keji back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Keji is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Keji uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lampi. A counter left hand to the body from Keji misses its target.
That's one minute gone in the round. Keji misses with the combination.
Lampi has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Keji misses with a series of wild punches.
Keji throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lampi sees it coming and avoids it easily. Keji looks to throw the jab but Lampi is out of range. Keji throws a hook but Lampi blocks it. Lampi moves away from the strike by Keji. Lampi now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Keji misses with a left hand and Lampi counters with a nice kick to the body. Lampi ducks under a wild hook from Keji. Lampi is clearly looking to counter with head kicks. Keji misses with a body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lampi attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Keji throwing a counter right hand but Lampi manages to avoid it. Keji throws a right hand that misses
and Lampi counters with a nice uppercut. Lampi moves in close and cracks Keji with a massive right hand! Keji, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Lampi!
