Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Higgins steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Slaissi.
Higgins quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.

Slaissi fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Higgins.
Higgins connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Slaissi's hands.
Slaissi takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Slaissi looks to throw the jab but Higgins is out of range.
Slaissi lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Slaissi.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

As Slaissi looks to move away, Higgins throws a big counter combo but Slaissi just gets out of the way.

and Slaissi counters with a nice uppercut.

Higgins forces Slaissi back against the cage and clinches.

That was a close round but I would say that Lou Higgins will probably get the nod.
