Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mac Anudo (ranked 798 p4p, 2281 weight class) and Elinho Mineiro (ranked 88 p4p, 243 weight class). Elinho Mineiro has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 20 - 9 - 1, fighting out of New York, Mac Anudo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 14 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Elinho Mineiro! The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Steve Erwin and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mineiro scores with a hook to the body. Anudo takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Good leg kick by Anudo. Anudo closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Mineiro is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Anudo to keep the fight standing. Anudo has picked Mineiro up - he's going for a ride! Anudo dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Mineiro moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Anudo is pushing down on Mineiro's leg trying to pass to half guard. Mineiro is fighting to maintain full guard but Anudo has managed to sneak the leg through. Anudo thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Mineiro's head. Anudo is trying to control. Mineiro wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Mineiro looking for submissions off his back. Anudo working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anudo passes to side control. Anudo wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Mineiro, who protects the arm well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Anudo tries to move into full mount but can't pass Mineiro's legs. Mineiro is letting Anudo control him for a moment. Anudo is looking to take a break and control but Mineiro is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Anudo happy to just control the position for now. Anudo scores with a couple of short elbows. Anudo trying to control the position but Mineiro is working away. Mineiro tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Anudo wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Anudo trying to control the position but Mineiro is working away. Anudo scoring with punches and elbows.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Anudo is looking to take a break and control but Mineiro is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Anudo passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Mineiro! Anudo unloading with bombs! The referee warns Mineiro that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
BOOM! Anudo connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Anudo takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Mineiro wants to hold on but Anudo pushes him away. Anudo raining down shots from the mount!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Anudo scoring with strikes but Mineiro is staying in there. Mineiro is in a horrible position here. Anudo smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mineiro sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Anudo is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Anudo tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Anudo pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Anudo trying to control but Mineiro is having none of it. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Mac Anudo dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Mineiro moves in looking to clinch but Anudo pushes him off. Anudo is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Mineiro can do to turn this around? Mineiro moves out of range as Anudo throws a body kick.
Anudo has closed the distance and engaged Mineiro in a clinch.
Anudo tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Mineiro's elbow. Anudo tries a knee to the head but Mineiro blocks it.
Anudo misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Mineiro.
Mineiro has a couple of punches blocked by Anudo.
Mineiro jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Anudo walks away with a smile on his face. Mineiro gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Anudo looks for the body kick but Mineiro saw that one coming. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A thudding body kick lands there by Anudo!
A jab-cross combination lands for Anudo and sends Mineiro crashing to the mat! Anudo follows him down to the mat - Mineiro regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
It looks like Elinho Mineiro has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Anudo seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mineiro does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anudo uses his free foot to push down on Mineiro's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Mineiro. Anudo lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Anudo can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Mineiro is looking to escape. Anudo has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Anudo avoids the attempt from Mineiro to control. Anudo breaks from Mineiro's wrist control and lands an elbow. Anudo cracks Mineiro with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Mineiro in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Anudo goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Mineiro turns into him and now he's in Anudo's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mineiro trying to control the position from guard on top but Anudo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Anudo wants to sweep here but Mineiro controlling him for the moment.

Mineiro drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Anudo manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Mineiro has Anudo in his guard. Anudo stands up over Mineiro, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Mineiro can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Anudo controls the pace. Anudo is in close to Mineiro's body, working some short punches and elbows. Anudo cracks Mineiro with a solid left hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Anudo slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Anudo in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Anudo trying to control the position but Mineiro is working away. Mineiro is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Mineiro is working to avoid the ground and pound but Anudo connects with a decent elbow. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Mac Anudo dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Elinho Mineiro's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round! Mineiro sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Anudo fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Mineiro has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Nice defenses there by Anudo. Anudo wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Mac Anudo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Mineiro showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Anudo.
Mineiro looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Anudo dips to his left and cracks Mineiro with an uppercut! Anudo catches Mineiro napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Mineiro to the canvas!
Mineiro is rocked! Anudo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Anudo is stalling in the full guard. Mineiro is still in real trouble! Can Anudo finish him? Anudo pushes down on Mineiro's leg and manages to get into half guard. Anudo is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Anudo is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Mineiro seems to have recovered his senses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anudo working Mineiro over with strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Anudo lands a big elbow - Mineiro is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Anudo!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mac Anudo! A relieved looking Mac Anudo thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
