Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Katsu Yamasaki (ranked 130 p4p, 502 weight class) and Agansing Rai (ranked 14 p4p, 58 weight class). Rai has chosen Break Stuff as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Katsu Yamasaki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 14 - 2, fighting out of Sydney, Agansing Rai!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rai is looking to slow Yamasaki down with leg kicks.
Yamasaki ducks under a wild hook from Rai.
Yamasaki half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
A telegraphed right hand from Rai misses the target.
Yamasaki appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Yamasaki on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Rai. Rai obviously looking to wear him down.
Rai rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Yamasaki counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Yamasaki trying to control the position from guard on top but Rai is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Yamasaki pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Rai is keeping the position for now.
Yamasaki missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rai is trying to control the position but Yamasaki postures up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rai tries to roll over but Yamasaki keeps him under control.
Rai trying to get back to full guard but Yamasaki takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
Yamasaki is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Rai can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Yamasaki moves to the back.
Yamasaki is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rai rolls, trying to escape but Yamasaki keeps control of the position.
Yamasaki working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.
Yamasaki avoiding Rai 's attempts to control his hands.
Yamasaki is trying to stick to Rai's back but Rai is turning into Yamasaki. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Yamasaki's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Rai.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Rai won't allow Yamasaki to sweep him here.
Rai must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Yamasaki is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Rai is aware though and is defending well.

Yamasaki looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Rai is sitting in close to Yamasaki's body. Yamasaki has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Rai is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Rai is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Yamasaki.
