Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Winston Todd (ranked 64 p4p, 591 weight class) and Jack Adlehyde (ranked 8 p4p, 82 weight class). Todd comes into the arena with Piano Man blaring out of the sound system. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 42 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Winston Todd!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Adlehyde!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Todd throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Adlehyde is looking for the big counter here.
A big left from Todd misses.
A combination from Adlehyde does no damage.
A low kick lands for Todd.
Adlehyde throws a predictable looking body shot
letting Todd counter with a right hand.
Todd misses with a wild body shot.
Adlehyde scores with a punch to the head.

It looked like Todd wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Adlehyde pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Todd back to the cage. Adlehyde follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
It looks like Winston Todd has been cut.

Todd uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Adlehyde.
Todd swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

Todd walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Todd moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Adlehyde's corner calls for a 1-2. Adlehyde obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Todd looks to score with a jab to the body but Adlehyde is just out of range.
Adlehyde lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

and Todd connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Adlehyde takes the fight into the clinch.
Adlehyde scores with a shoulder strike.
Adlehyde pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Adlehyde lands an overhand right.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Todd cracks Adlehyde with an open hand slap.
Adlehyde is rocked!
Todd throws a pinpoint strike between Adlehyde's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Adlehyde crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Todd scores a great knockout victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Winston Todd!
Winston Todd was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
