Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Albatross (ranked 40 p4p, 42 weight class) and Finnish Tax Payer (ranked 2 p4p, 3 weight class). Tax Payer is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Konala Cartelli - Mäkikotka. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tax Payer waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Albatross.

Albatross cracks Tax Payer with a good jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Tax Payer cracks Albatross with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Albatross tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Tax Payer let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Albatross connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Tax Payer momentarily.
Tax Payer is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Albatross.
Albatross looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Tax Payer swings for the body but Albatross moves out of range.
Albatross is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Tax Payer throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Albatross counters with a nice uppercut.

and Albatross counters with a nice right hand that sends Tax Payer toppling to the canvas! Tax Payer scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Albatross finish him?!

Albatross closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Tax Payer out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
